<p>On Tuesday morning, police claimed an 18-year-old Udaipur-based medical student reportedly committed himself in his dormitory room near Vigyan Nagar Police Station.</p>
<p>They said that throughout the evenings of Monday and Tuesday, the adolescent hung himself while he was preparing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). Police stated that no suicide note was found in the hostel room.</p>

This is the 13th possible incidence of coaching student suicide in Kota this year. At least 15 incidences of coaching pupils committing suicide were reported in Kota in 2022.</p>
<p>Mehul Vaishnav, 18, a native of Salumbar in the Udaipur district, was identified as the dead youngster. He had spent the previous two months studying for the NEET exam at a coaching centre in Kota. In the Vigyan Nagar neighbourhood, he was residing in a hostel.</p>
<p>Due to his roommate’s absence that evening, Vaishnav was alone himself in his dorm room. Others at the hostel called the caretaker after he didn’t leave the room until late Tuesday morning. The caretaker smashed down the door and discovered the youngster hanging from a ceiling fan.</p>
<p>The deceased person’s corpse was taken to the MBS hospital mortuary. After his family members arrive, his post-mortem will be performed, according to Devesh Bhardwaj, circle inspector (CI) of Vigyan Nagar Police Station.</p>
